A Time to Reflect

Already this year, we have seen a tremendous turmoil in Victoria. The Bushfires have wreaked a heavy cost on many families. Our prayers are with the families of those affected. It is at a time like this that christians have a tremendous opportunity to demonstrate the love of Christ in helping, caring and praying for those in their hour of need. As we all reflect upon our lives and purpose we would love to invite you to come and hear a real message of hope in Jesus Christ and the comfort Christ can bring at such a time as this. No matter what age, race or creed we welcome you to find hope with us. If you have any special needs in prayer please feel free to contact us, or you would like a visit at a hospital etc please phone us to organize the details.

A Time to Heal.

During the months of February through April we will be taking time at each service to prayer for specific needs during our regular services. We have recently seen God move in healing for numbers that have come in faith and we would like to agree with you in the case of your need, and believe God with you to see a complete recovery. We encourage you to draw closer to God, both in your prayer life and your devotions. As the people of God let me encourage you to take this time to share Jesus with your unsaved friends as this might be the only time that they will be willing to lend an ear to the Gospel. Youth Outreach Scene.

Our band ("Zeal8") is up and running (including our feature Rapper "Biggi D" ) and we are already seeing a notable impact with our recent concert in Ringwood. We look forward to continued impact during the rest of the summer as we believed God for the lives of our youth during 2009. If you would like to see the band in your area please contact us to organize the details.

"Christ-centred" church?

At Potters House Christian Church we know that God's Word is able to bring liberty to all come with a repentant heart and a humble spirit. Our aim is a Christ centred church in a selfless way. The theology goes that religion is the height of our rebellion against God. We believe that the content of the Gospel has not changed and it is as relevant today as it always has been. It is man who is in desperate need of a change.

The bottom line is that the church is a place where the Word of God has it's rightfully authority in our services and the Spirit of God is given freedom to deal with the issues of sin in our lives. God's Word has the power to deliver and set at liberty the captives. As you respond to his word, your life will be transformed into the image of God's Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you have been disenchanted with religion or the ultra/uber church experience and want to begin to experience the power of God as it works in real lives, we invite you to come and spend an hour investing in your eternal destiny.
