The Church is people Serving
Potters House Christian Church is simply a community of ordinary people from all walks of life who have come to understand their desperate need of God in their lives. We are just regular people with regular problems but a perfect God who desires to be active in our daily lives.
The heart of God is for people and therein lies the strength of any church. As people serve God and each other we find that elusive peace that the world chases but only Jesus is the supplier. There is no perfect church, but if the saints follow the example of Jesus we can only grow stronger in our daily walk with Christ.
About our Services
All are welcome, so you never know who you will meet. Potters House Christian Church Nunawading has three services, one on Sunday morning, one on Sunday evening and one on Wednesday evening.
Our Services start as a rule on time. Typically we start off with our song service, then we take time to pray as a group for any needs we have been made aware of. We take a couple of minutes to make everyone feel welcome and get to know other that have come to worship. Next the necessary announcements, after which we receive an offering.
The Word of God takes pre-eminence thought the foolishness of preaching. An opportunity is given for those that are not born again to respond to an invitation to receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. We also take time for prayer for the sick as required and the usual fellowship around the church until everyone gets hungry and desperate to go home. It is usually hard to clear the church as most folks love to stay and talk..
